Comics Continuum has a news bit about Kevin Sorbo (from Hercules and Andromeda) voicing Ka-Zar in the upcoming Super Hero Squad cartoon. To top that off, House’s Jennifer Morrison will be voicing the Wasp, while her younger sister, opera singer Julia Morrison, will be voicing Screaming Mimi. Now we can cross Wasp and Screaming Mimi off our list of characters with unknown voices, and we can add Za-Zar to the list of guest stars!

Taye Diggs as Black Panther

March 28th, 2009 Comments Off Posted in Marvel Animated, Super Hero Squad

Comics Continuum reported yesterday that the Black Panther will be played by Taye Diggs. Marvel isn’t lying when they said this was a star-studded voice cast but I hope all these big names doesn’t mean a string of one-shot cameos. In other words, if scheduling doesn’t work out, does that mean those characters don’t get to come back later? Hopefully this won’t be a problem and all these great characters can make return visits.

Super Hero Squad Casting News

Apparently Comics Continuum has been busting with Super Hero Squad casting news these past few days. While the actors themselves aren’t new, it’s great to know who they’re playing. For instance, Grey DeLisle as Ms. Marvel and Enchantress (visit her home page too for information on her past voice-acting, her music, and how to get autographs), Robert Englund as Dormammu, and Michelle Trachtenberg as the Valkyrie! Great voice talent? Awesome character appearances from all over the Marvel Universe? Hopefully the show is as fun as it looks!

Super Hero Squad trailer

This has been on Youtube for a few weeks now, but I haven’t seen anyone talking about it. It’s a handcam (or maybe cell phone) video of the New York Comic Con presentation of the Super Hero Squad trailer. It’s never going to be all things to everyone, but the cartoon looks like it will be a fun time.
