New Super Hero Squad and Spider-Man Video Games?

We’re still looking into this, but Mark Hoffmeier, writer of several episodes for the Super Hero Squad Show, lists two interesting bits on his LinkedIn page (three bits if you include the fact that he’s writing episodes for the previously mentioned Super Hero Squad second season):

WRITER, Activision’s SPIDER-MAN: Chronicles game for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.

WRITER, THQ – Marvel’s Super Hero Squad Game and SHS #2 Game for the Wii and DS.

So this is the first we’ve heard of Spider-Man: Chronicles, and a second Super Hero Squad game, but we’re definitely excited. Hopefully Spider-Man: Chronicles can build on some pretty solid past Spider-Man games, while the Super Hero Squad franchise has room to grow as shown by the 50% to 60% aggregate ratings (depending on the platform).
