New Spectacular Spider-Man and Iron Man Armored Adventures DVDs

All kinds of great shows are going to be hitting DVD soon, specifically Iron Man Armored Adventures volume 2, (6 episodes, January 5, $16.95 msrp) and Spectacular Spider-Man volumes 6 and 7, (February 2, $19.94 msrp.)

Spectacular Spider-Man volumes 6 and 7 bring the series almost to the end of season 2, while Iron Man Armored Adventures volume 2 brings the series to almost midway through the first season. Head over to the board to discuss this (and any other animation related stuff).

Ionic Wonder Man on the Super Hero Squad Show!

Marvel’s updated their Facebook page with pictures of the Kurt Busiek/Avengers vol. 3 purple ionic Wonder Man amongst other odds and ends. As a personal favorite version, I can’t wait! Feel free to jump over to the message board to discuss. In other animation news, a fine group of folks have started a facebook page to save the Spectacular Spider-Man animated series, so fans of Spidey’s most recent animated adventures should head over there to check them out.

Comics Continuum reports that next Monday, September 14, Cartoon Network will air a two episode sneak peak of the Super Hero Squad Show at 7. Meanwhile, TV Shows on DVD points to a press release for the fifth Spectacular Spider-Man single disc DVD

Spectacular Spider-Man Season 1 in July

Season 1 of Spectacular Spider-Man will be in stores at the end of July, and TV Shows on DVD has the front and back box art.

Spectacular Spider-Man Happy Meal Toys

Marvelousnews.com has news of the upcoming Spectacular Spider-Man Happy Meal toys coming out of McDonalds starting… well, according to the article is starts today! The 8 figures include “Spider-Man Suction Cup, Doctor Octopus, Spider-Man Swinging, Venom, Spider-Man Launcher, Green Goblin, Spider-Man Crawling, and Sandman”. Meanwhile, Happymeal.com has pictures, along with fun and activities.

Spectacular Spider-Man volume 2 and 3

I know we haven’t posted on the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon lately, but apparently volume 2 and 3 are right around the corner according to TV Shows on DVD, which also has early artwork for volume 2. Season 2 of the cartoon is coming to Disney XD, and Marvel Animation Age has possibly spoiler-ish episode descriptions of Season 2 for those curious.
