Super Hero Squad Season 1 on DVD. In Canada.
Canadians were the first to get the complete Wolverine and the X-Men animated series, and now they’re the first to get the complete Super Hero Squad Season 1 which, according to TVShows on DVD will be out on September 28 for $29.98 Canadian. Dear the US: Please stop buying volume 1 through Eleventy of a series because it only encourages rights holders to release a handful of episodes on DVD at a time, and that sucks. Head over to the message board to discuss.

Head on over to vote for your most wanted figures. Are you pro-Quicksilver? Desperate for Domino? Soaring for a Sauron? Mad for Madrox? Show some support for the Super Hero Squad figures you want to see made over in the Rumor Buster forum.
Super Hero Squad’s “Cosmic” Playset
You probably remember seeing Galactus hanging out behind the new Super Hero Squad playset at SDCC 2010, and the good news is that it’ll be on store shelves soon enough. Entertainment Earth is already taking pre-orders for it with it either arriving in October or November, depending on which listing you get first. The listing mentions both Spider-Man and Iron Man, both of whom were displayed with Silver Surfer at SDCC 2010, but hopefully pictures will be available soon to show us which of which wil show up on store shelves. No word yet on what differences they’ll have from their previously released Super Hero Squad figures.
Super Hero Squad Man-Thing!
Man-Thing makes his Super Hero Squad debut in October’s Super Hero Squad 10, as the Super Hero Squad dress up like Dracula, Werewolf by Night and the Living Mummy for Halloween. Here’s the full October 2010 solicitation, but I bet you were sold at Man-Thing.

But their party plans go awry when a mysterious macabre menace shows up! Who could it be…? Aw, you’ll get it when I tell you the title of the story. It’s “Whomsoever Knows Fear…! (There! Ya happy?) Oh, plus, there’s a Halloween Party at the Baxter Building! C’mon…you’re all invited!
SDCC Hasbro News Round-Up Part 2
More news coming out of SDCC 2010 today as Hasbro gives it’s long-awaited panel. The future of Marvel Legends, awesome Marvel Universe reveals, and even some (if I do say so myself) lackluster Super Hero Squad reveals.
Marvel Universe:
A Masterworks Sentinel. Actually, two! (Seen Here)
Marvel Universe Gigantic Battles Bill Foster “Giant Man” or Goliath, and Thor Clone/Clor/Ragnarok, together with a Loki/Frost Giant pairing seen here and here.
Spring sees an original Avengers set, with Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man, Wasp and Hulk (seen here), and a Deadpool, Wolverine and Warpath X-Force set seen here.
The Hasbro diorama and display case was updated with some of these new figures, as seen here. Jessica Drew’s Spider-Woman helps round out the New Avengers, while Spider-Man 2099 and Doc Samson are also shown. Cybernetic War Marchine is also shown in this picture. Heroic Age Iron Man, and better pictures of Spider-Man 2099 and World War Hulk are visible at this gallery.
Spring 2011′s Wave 1 has World War Hulk (here), Captain Marvel (here).
Meanwhile, Spring 2011′s release of 2011 Wave 2 includes a Jim Lee inspired Cyclops (here), and kitty-eared First Appearance Wolverine (here) to round out your collection of Giant Sized X-Men, and Gladiator (here), and Apocalypse (here). Yeah, that’s a lot of X-Men in one wave.
Spider-Man’s 3.75 inch line will apparently be adding Scorpion (here).
And finally, for Super Hero Squad news: repaints a plenty. Red Hulk/Iron Man, Spider-Man/Spider-Woman (aka Arachne, Julia Carpenter), and Wolverine/Polaris (well, we’re only reasonably sure. It’s a repaint of the Scarlet Witch) were shown on one slide. War Machine/Iron Patriot, Spider-Man and the City in Crisis Green Goblin, and the Secret Wars 4-Pack Spider-Man are shown with the new Thor sculpt on a second slide. Ultimate Captain America gets a Squad Cruiser shown on one slide, while if you look at the Toyark slides, you can see the Cyclops and Wolverine with a Quinjet slide.
Ok ladies and gentlemen, head over to the Rumor Buster’s message board to talk about the SDCC 2010 revelations and be sure to log in and cast your yay or nay vote!

SDCC 2010 – Super Hero Squad and Thor Video Game Round-up!
IGN has a preview of the upcoming Super Hero Squad Online MMO with a breakdown of the Helicarier, which serves as player housing. Apparently the environment is pretty interactive, and the review mentions how characters interact with objects… Hulk can lift crates, Daredevil will use the treadmill, characters gain performance benefits from collecting or using items. The game is starting to shape up!
Meanwhile, the THQ Super Hero Squad Infinity Gauntlet video game gets a preview over at Marvel.com (although you’ve already seen the Super Hero Squad Infinity Gauntlet trailer here last week.
Meanwhile, Sega’s upcoming Thor video game also gets a spot at Marvel.com. Here’s how they describe the game:
In the game, Thor battles through the numerous worlds of Norse mythology that span realms ranging from primal worlds of fire and ice to extraordinary planets inhabited by Frost Giants and Trolls to save Asgard, the capital city of the Norse Gods. Thor must overcome monstrous foes lifted from the pages of the comics including Ulik, Ymir, and Surtur, as well as other monstrous denizens. Players will wield the iconic Mjölnir, Thor’s legendary hammer, to fight enemies on an immense scale while controlling the elemental storm powers of lightning, thunder, and wind to vanquish enemies. As Thor earns Valor points through his exploits, players can acquire new abilities, powers, and weapon upgrades.
And while we’re talking about video games, hopefully we’ll get some more details soon about the Suicide Squad video game talked about over on Robot 6. Not much is known, but the phrase hyper violent keeps getting bandied about.
Sounds good right? Head over to the Rumor Buster message board to discuss!
