Rise of Cobra and new Robot Heroes news

Earlier today Clanure posted some news about a new Rise of Cobra Combat Heroes listing for “Village Duke vs. Cobra” and also mentioned how TFW2005 has pictures of some upcoming Robot Heroes figures including Ironhide, Mixmaster and pictures of “Battle of the Fallen” and “Battle for the Allspark” sets. Of course all this is great news for Transformers and GI Joe fans so go forth and enjoy!

And New Robot Heroes

And Clanure has been posting information about upcoming Robot Heroes in this thread, and this one. Play.com has listed Jolt vs. Ravage and Ironhide vs. MixMaster sets, while Ben’s World of Transformers has news of the Revenge of the Fallen set called Battle of the Fallen. Of course, Clanure also updated the Robot Heroes Checklist over on the wiki.

SHS, MU, Wolverine and Infinite Heroes Gallery Updates

While today’s gallery update may not have a lot of photos although it does bring us up to 3650 images. Since the regular camera was unavailable, we only took front-facing profile pictures for now and we’ll put all-around shots up later. And now for the rundown:

X-Men Origins: Wolverine Cyclops and Iceman, and the Jim Lee costume Sabretooth and Wolverine from the Toys R Us Exclusive set

Marvel Universe Wave 4 Blade. Wave 3 is up too, mostly, with the rest coming soon.

Marvel Universe Running Change Spider-Man v.1 and some Spider-Man comparison shots (along with a comparison shot of the Ms. Marvel figures, and a quick headswap Moonstone as Ms. Marvel figure.)

Ms. Marvel and the Gotham Knights 3-Pack (Batman, Deadshot and Scarecrow) Infinite Heroes figures

The City in Crisis/Spider-Man Saves the Day and Winter Soldier Saga figures, including comparison shots of the Sandman and Captain America figures. And in other Super Hero Squad figures, pre-production figures of Ultimate Wolverine and stretched Mr. Fantastic, whom Clanure has previously uploaded full profile shots and an Invisible Woman comparison shot. Then there’s the Super Teams Fantastic Four pre-production Thing figure and a comparison shot with the Arachno-Racer Thing.

And finally, we come to Clanure’s ever cool What I Got folder with the new Combat Heroes Cobra 5-pack (with the background image showing the G.I. Joe 5-pack), a pre-production Nighthawk, and a Robot Heroes Devastator!

Revenge of the Fallen Devastator

Clanure pointed out Tformers.com’s pictures of the Robot Heroes Revenge of the Fallen Devastator figure that popped up over on ebay.co.uk. Smaller than a Super Hero Squad sized mega figure, larger than a regular figure, no news on where, when or how it’s going to be distributed, but danged if it don’t look cute.

Looks like there will be plenty of Robot Heroes to tie into the movie.  I hope they continue the excellent sculpting that they’ve brought us with this line.

Also, www.tfw2005.com is reporting a Robot Heroes movie tie in game featuring Optimus Prime and Megatron.

Mr. Fantastic and 2009 Movie Series Robot Heroes in the Gallery

Easily intimidated? Then perhaps you don’t want to hear that Clanure’s collection now includes the Mr. Fantastic from the apparently ill-fated Mr. Fantastic/Galactus Mega-Pack and the first wave of 2009 Movie Robot Heroes. Still, it’s hard to stay jealous of someone who takes such great pictures so be sure to drop a note of thanks to Clanure over on the board.

Robot Heroes Universe Wave 3 loaded to the Gallery!

Robot Heroes Universe Wave 3 has been added to the gallery.  This wave includes Snarl/Sharkticon, Perceptor/Hardshell, and Cheetor/Tankor.  Keep watching the Robot Heroes gallery for the rest of the waves.  I hope to have them loaded over the next few weeks.
