Mosaic Monday…
We’re continuing to try new things out here, and one of those is Mosaic Monday* (or whatever day of the week I managed to upload the new photo.)
Here’s how it works: we upload a mosaic photo of a random (but only as random as I get) Super Hero Squad figure. The mosaic “tiles” are all other Super Hero Squad pictures… figures, vehicles, character art, screen shots from the animated series (when they’re available.) Basically, it’s a squad figure made from Squad figures. Once you think you’ve got a good idea of who it is, go over to the Message Board to post your theories. Yes, you have to sign up, but it’s quick, painless, and it lets you join in and start your own conversations.
Answers will be posted a few weeks after the shot is up to give everyone a chance to post (even though some shots will be more obvious than others).
So here’s the general rules:
1) The picture is going to be a fairly straightforward one. Essentially, no “trick photography”, no odd angles… just a fairly direct shot of the character. This doesn’t mean the character won’t be in a pose, or at a slight angle, just that it won’t be a top-down shot of Doc Samson.
2) We’re just looking for the character’s name. While we would certainly be impressed if you can identify a movie Spider-Man from a comic Spider-Man based on a mosaic alone, just say Spider-Man and we’ll know what you mean.
3) To find out if your answer is right, go post your guesses over on the Message Board!
4) If there are no correct guesses after one week, we’ll post a clue, and we’ll post another for every week that passes.
