Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 1, 2
While TV Shows on DVD has the cover art for Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 1, and scheduled to arrive May 4, 2010 (and they also have news that Volume 3 appears to have disappeared from Amazon’s pre-orders), Marvel Animation Age has the official confirmation that Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2 is on the way. That’s not too surprising since way back in November, Marvel’s financial statements mentioned a total of 52 episodes (aka, Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 1 and 2 combined), but it’s still good to get official word that the project is underway. Animated Iron Man in May!
May 4th is going to be a good day for fans of 1990’s Marvel Animation! Both Volume 5 of X-Men, wrapping up the well loved series, and the complete Iron Man series (and responsible for a whole generation of kids knowing Julia Carpenter as Spider-Woman, the Mandarin as a green alien, and MODOK as a weird creepy floating head) get releases sure to make many people happy! While I agree, they could definitely benefit from some added features (and better encodings in some cases), given the number of years we’ve been waiting, at this point we’ll take what we can get.

Super Hero Squad Show Toys at Burger King
The next big Burger King promotion is… Super Hero Squad Show toys! Four Super Hero Squad Show related Burger King kids meal toys are out there, consisting of Shield Flying Captain America, Gamma Glow Hulk, Real Scene Silver Surfer, Iron Man’s Light-Up Unibeam. They’re not “real” figures, and the Unibeam doesn’t actually have any figure at all, but for collectors of all the wild Super Hero Squad miscellaneous merchandise (and of course, both kids and collectors alike) it might be a great addition.
