Star Wars Q&A
« on: January 29, 2010, 01:11:35 AM »

Alright, I know this is pretty short notice, but Hasbro's given us information on how we can participate in their Star Wars Q&A!  All we need to do is come up with 2 questions about the various Star Wars lines Hasbro puts out & get the questions submitted to Hasbro by February 5th...or if we can't get them in by the 5th, then the next deadline isn't until the 26th.

Anyway, let's come up with some questions & try to get them in for this deadline, huh?

Ooh, ooh, ooh, I've got one.  Will we see the Galactic Heroes AT-AT released this year, or is it still on hold until 2011?  Is it planned for a store exclusive?  (So far the release date hasn't been directly addressed at the UK Toy Fair, though apparently it is being shown there!)

Question #2:  When does Hasbro plan to release a TIE Fighter?  I don't ask if but rather when because I'm sure Hasbro sees that this is the most identifiable SW vehicle that has yet to be released in GH form (well, according to me, anyway ;)).

This is fantastic news that TheRumorBuster is participating!  So many other SW sites focus on the 3 3/4" line and totally forget the GH.

+ Karma for making sure we definitely have questions to submit on the 5th, lol.  Great questions!

We're all stoked that The Rumorbuster is participating in this Q&A!  We've been (& are constantly) working hard to try to amp up our game so that The Rumorbuster will be bigger & more awesome than ever before!

Alright, if we get more questions for this round, then Sunday night I'll throw them all into a poll so we have a couple of days to choose which ones get submitted on the 5th.

Any chance of seeing playsets/display bases for this line much like the ones made for SHS, maybe reflecting the Death Star (not in scale) or an Ewok village that puts the one from our childhood to shame?

Any chance we could start seeing more diversity in the army builder characters?  An African American Rebel Trooper or a Hoth Rebel with a blonde beard would be great.

The new pose Galactic Heroes Clone Trooper and Storm Trooper are awesome but they now make the Basic Battle Droid look a bit dated.  Any chance us army builders could see a new Battle Droid figure in a shooting pose?

Wait... you're not talking about that thing that I've spent most of my day working on so that we can do that one thing, and those other things, without having to do that other other thing are you?  Because I'd hate for you to get everyone excited about that so soon!  People might burst with anticipation!

We... don't need to hear about your sex-life, or lack thereof, Clever.

JediNews
just asked about the AT-AT and it is confirmed for this year.  It's great news, but I guess we'll have to remove that from our questions (unless you already submitted them of course  :)).

I just changed my vote so that there isn't such a tie for the second question (just in case wwwyzerd hasn't submitted the questions yet that is).

Man, I feel some real pressure to come up with some great questions to add to the assortment!

Cool, I didn't realize I could change my vote.  But now that I've figured out how, I changed mine too.

Well, I'd like to know if there are any plans to hae Galactic Hero figures for characters from the comic books ore from the Ewok movies/cartoons, or any other parts of the franchise so far not explored.

had confirmed that the previously announced 'Kamino Showdown' and 'Purchase of the Droids' sets were still going to reach retail around March, but there was no mention of them at Toy Fair.  Are these still scheduled for release?
