Iron Man 2 Speculation Thread

With Iron Man 2 news around the corner, I figured we should have a place for speculation.

I'm going to stick with the possibilities I made in the Iron Man on eBay thread and add a few.  Obviously, a few can be repaints (both Nick Furys, Black Widow) but none of these would surprise me:

Iron Man and War Machine (Probably a fair number of versions of both)
Blacklash (Comic and movie)
Nick Fury (Comic and movie/Ultimate)
Black Widow (Comic and movie)
Blizzard
Ghost
Iron Patriot
Captain America and Thor (as an Avengers set... anyone dig me?)
Pepper Potts (unlikely, I know, but a possibility)
Mandarin (I wouldn't be surprised to see a green repaint of the one that came out with the last movie, but I'd love for new sculpts, or even a Temsin Mandarin)

Some kind of box set featuring a repaint of Fin Fang Foom (appeals to fans of the cartoon, and the figure itself has been off most store shelves for a while)

So who else do you guys think we might see for Iron Man 2?  Who do you want to see?

I would really like to see more of the rogue's gallery from the comics explored. I know we'll get the obligatory movie figures, but from the looks of that "classic" Iron Man, we'll also be treated to some comic-style goodness as well:

Ugh... they've changed Blacklash back to Whiplash?  Between the name confusion (and the fact that everyone I know called him Backlash instead of Blacklash anyway) and the fact that there's a bunch of pretenders to the throne (Blacklash started as Whiplash, then changed his name.  A woman took the name Whiplash.  I don't think anyone knows what happened to her.  Then a man and a woman took both the names Whiplash and Blacklash and joined the Thunderbolts during the aborted Civil War storyline where bad guys like Doctor Octopus and others were being brought on board as part of the super-villain army.  Now there's a new Whiplash introduced just in time for the movie You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) I suppose I'll be happy with whatever we get. 

It could also be a good time to put out another Doom or a repaint (if Hasbro wants to).  Chemistro could be an easy figure (very boring body, plus gun and 'fro), I'm surprised we've not mentioned Grey Gargoyle yet, and Whirlwind and Unicorn could also be great surprises the way Dreadknight was.  Fans of the 90's might remember (or want to forget) Timeslide, the story where Mantis and Kang (or cunning duplicates thereof) turned Iron Man evil.

And for Iron Men variants: Teen Tony armor!  Roller skates armor!  Nose armor!  Deep sea armor!  Outer space armor!

Oh my gawd...all these years I never realized his name was actually Blacklash...I always thought it was Backlash.  Apparently the mix-up is so common that even when you look up Backlash on marveldatabase.com it takes you to the correct page (even though it doesn't actually mention Backlash anywhere on his page).

I'm thinking a villain or two, but mostly just different Iron-Man suits.  That was what the first movie sets were all about.  Hopefully they learned their lesson though.

Can someone that speaks fluent Previews confirm whether or not this listing

in the latest previews is code for a second wave of Iron Man 2 SHS figures or not?  The first listing was for DEC09 1344   IRON MAN II SUPER HERO SQUAD 3-PK AF 201001 (C: 1-1-4)   03/03/10   SRP: $14.99    = $   

and in my head, that says 201002, meaning 2010, Wave 2, but hopefully one of you more Previews-friendly people can confirm or deny.

urban-collectors.com has these listed as "on-the-shelf" 03/01/10.

It's all I've been able to dig up. I was hoping there might be some more covert SHS images floating around out there. Sigh.

Also has the iron man with the raised 'wings' on the helmet (i forget what version the armour is)

Both figures look like pretty poor quality seconds but at least they are out there.
