Marvel’s take on Robot Chicken continues with Marvel Super Heroes What The ?! episode 2, featuring M.O.D.O.K. at the premiere of Wolverine’s movie.
Action Figure Insider has a May Q&A with Mattel with a question about how the Marvel Universe figures are eating at shelf space for Infinite Heroes and Justice League Unlimited figures.
And a designer named Phayart has some slick models up of various Green Lantern rings, including the Agent Orange ring, Black Lantern ring, Star Sapphire ring and more, all ready to be 3D printed for you. You may have to paint it yourself, but you can be a Black Lantern for $5.44. DC’s probably going to take them down, so get your collection now!
Mini-Marvels: Not Dead Yet?
Marvel has a poll up where readers can choose which Assistant-Sized Marvel Spectacular story they want continued, and yes, Chris Giarrusso’s Mini-Marvels epic starring Hawkeye is in the poll! Since we’ve already mentioned the rumbling when the possible discontinuance of the Mini-Marvels stories was first mentioned, rumblings which continued even when Jeph Loeb noted that the Hulk strips would continue, this is a great way to show your support.

Clanure has started a thread on the board about the recent dry spell between news and releases on… well… just about every toy line anyone collects! Join in if you’ve noticed the dry spell too.
Masters of the Universe Classics Mer-Man sells out in under an hour, for the second time. Collectors that were shut out still mad. I’ve only been locked out of one figure so far, and I fear it’ll happen again, but some people have had worse luck than me. Note to Mattel, the e-commerce server hosting your site just can’t handle the order onslaught. The sooner the figures sell out, the more people feel rushed to rush your site, thus more of an order onslaught. Finding a new e-commerce solution might go a long way to fixing the ill-will.
X-Men Origins Wolverine Cyclops and Iceman figures are apparently hitting stores on the West Coast now. Great news for Marvel Universe fans looking to boost tiher X-Men contingent, bad news for people that hate the leg joints.
TV Shows On DVD has the Hulk-centric cover art for the next volume of Wolverine and the X-Men.
They’ve also apparently got some some-what leaked pencil art for the third volume of the original X-Men animated series DVDs.
Newsclips 04/28/09
First off, X-Men the Animated Series volume 1 and 2 are out today! They’re $17-$18 each (Best Buy, for instance, has them 2 for $35), but for those that remember paying $15 per single-episode VHS, they’re a great deal. Want to give it a taste? Marvel has episode 1 streaming along with its other video offerings.
Also, those 3.75 inch Terminator Salvation figures are hitting toy stores (or at least the Toys R Us I saw this afternoon) so go load up on T-800s to teach Wolverine that robots don’t have to be mega-sized to be deadly!
Fans of Joss Whedon’s characters may (or may not) be happy that Illyria will be visiting Bete Noire’s Fallen Angel when the title relaunches.
Mosaic Monday 4/27/09
Mosaic Monday’s back again. Go to the Mosaic Monday thread to post your guesses and confirm previous Mosaic Monday guesses. The rules are as always, it’s a Super Hero Squad figure, rendered from other Super Hero Squad images. No trick shots, no upside-down reverse mirror photos.

While we’re still waiting for news from our favorite lines (Super Hero Squad and related toys, Marvel Universe, Infinite Heroes), here’s another set of newsclips.
First off, Are you a fan of Todd McFarlane’s toy line and all the Spawn-related, Major League Baseball, fantasy Dragons and media tie-in figures? Lying in the Gutters has the bad news about production restructuring. Employees at other toy companies shouldn’t laugh… shifting to full body scans, digital sculpting and 3D printing will shed more blood before they’re done.
In an unfortunately named game, you can now play Iron Man in Iron Man Armored Popper. The gameplay is traditional Bust-A-Move (or Snood-like for some), but it’s the name that makes it.
And continuing with the slow roll-out of Super Friends episodes, TV Shows On DVD say that come August we’ll get 24 “lost episodes” on DVD for the first time.
