Minimates 27 and 28
While we’d previously mentioned the Psylocke, Gambit and Sabretooth Minimates (back when Marvelousnews announced them as Wave 26), Marvelousnews has shots of what is now Wave 28. Also up for show is Wave 27, an Ultimates themed-wave with Ultimate Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Nick Fury, Thor and a SHIELD Agent.
Super Hero Squad Wave 14
Wave 14 of the Super Hero Squad figures is up at Marvelous News! Bishop, Iron Man 2020, Deathlok, Green Goblin (albeit, the Hobgoblin repaint), and Iron Fist are shown in hi-res glory!

Marvel Universe Wave 4
Marvelousnews is the first with hi-res shots of Marvel Universe Wave 4. Red Hulk, Union Jack, Blade, Hobgoblin and Moon Knight may not be the A-Team of Marvel Comics (actually… I think they’d make an interesting A-Team) but with a Spider-Man villain, a Hulk-related character, a Marvel Movie star, Union Jack coming off his recent Marvel Legends figure and Moon Knight being a long-time Marvel mainstay, there’s a market for each character.
Super Hero Squad Vehicles
Anony Mouse e-mailed us with a litany of Amazon links for some Super Hero Squad branded vehicles from Jada Toys. There’s the 9-inch Spider-Man Truck, a 13-inch Iron Man truck, a 9-inch Wolverine truck, and a 9-inch Wolverine “action assault vehicle” while the Touch-Tech demo video you can see at those Amazon links shows what appears to be a Captain America sportscar and the Iron Man Truck video shows how touching parts of the vehicle will cause phrases (or at least “Time to Hero Up”) to be said. It’s interesting, but who knows what the final product will look like. Will this be a clunker product released to capitalize on the upcoming cartoon? Will this turn out to be a kind of cool development? We look forward to finding out.
Mezco’s Cinema of Fear up for pre-order
Big Bad Toy Store is the first to put Mezco’s Cinema of Fear Tiny Terrors up for pre-order. Arriving in August, Freddy, Jason and Leatherface can be seen over on Action-Figure.com and are Super Hero Squad/Hasbro Heroes styled horror flick creatures. What more can a person ask for?
Super Hero Squad Vehicles Wave 1
While we’re still finishing up the photos for Super Hero Squad Vehicles Wave 1, we thought we’d run through what’s different between the figures and their original versions. While Arachno-Roadster Spider-Man is a comic-styled (ie, black web) version of the Spider-Man/Lizard figure, while Thing is a lighter version of the Thing/Mole Man version. The Off-Road Avenger Captain America is a darker blue than Cable/Captain America, but not metallic like Avengers Assemble Captain America. Wolverine on the other hand, is a metallic purple instead of the metallic blue from Wolverine/Hulk and if that doesn’t do it for you, there’s always the stamp at the bottom of the foot. So like I said, pictures will be coming soon but in the meantime, hardcore completists may not want to pass up these easy-to-mistake-for-repack figures.
Wolverine and Infinite Heroes Galleries Updated
The Hunt for Mr. Sinister Wolverine Super Hero Squad figures are up at the gallery. We’ve scanned the back of the box and because someone asked me whether Sinister and Colossus share a bottom half, we took some comparison shots. Colossus has more leg-lines, his boot has a flat area and detailing around the point, while Sinister has a smaller pelvis, shorter thighs, and an extra fold/bend in the boot where his ankles would be. So similar, but not quite.
And in Infinite Heroes news, Captain Atom, Kingdom Come Superman and a front-shot of the Battle for Metropolis Luthor Trooper are up in the Infinite Heroes gallery. We’re almost at the 3000 image mark, and we’ll likely hit 13,000 image views overnight! On a semi-related note, remember that questions, comments, suggestions and discussion are always welcome at the message board.
