Mosaic Monday
It’s been awhile, but we’ve got another Mosaic Monday. This one is going to be pretty easy, but still pretty cool. Go to the Mosaic Monday thread to post your guesses and confirm previous Mosaic Monday guesses.
SHS Vehicles in the Gallery
The Super Hero Squad Vehicles Wave 1 are now in the gallery as well. While the repaints may not win over the casual collector, we’ve got comparison shots for the hardcore completist. The Spider-Men, the Things, the Captain Americas, and the subtlest of the bunch, Purple Wolverine and Blue Wolverine. Plus, the artwork easter eggs, like the Mary Jane calendar are just great fun.
Wave 13 Gallery Updated
We’ve put pictures of Tigra and Spider-Man in the Super Hero Squad Wave 13 Gallery. We also put up an impromptu Avengers West Coast (yes, Wasp should be there… and Ant-Man as Hank Pym, and Vision should be white… come on! I said it was impromptu!) As always, questions, comments, all that, are welcome on the board!
Super Hero Squad Gallery Updated
Well, in a fortuitous turn this post is our 500th post (not counting posts made on the message board or anything, or the now 300 pages we have up at the wiki) and it happens on our first anniversary. We’ve obviously evolved, but hopefully we continue bringing you stuff you enjoy.
With that out of the way, today’s update to the gallery includes the card backs for Super Hero Squad waves 9 through 13 (still minus Tigra) and Iron Man Waves 2 and 3, and scans of the Super Hero Squad Puzzle boxes (both the Milton Bradley and Playskool series). We also did some work on the Super Hero Squad wiki page, and updating the Infinite Heroes wiki page with the single figure numbers for Luthor Trooper, Supergirl and OMAC now that packaged figures have shown up on eBay.

Taye Diggs as Black Panther
Comics Continuum reported yesterday that the Black Panther will be played by Taye Diggs. Marvel isn’t lying when they said this was a star-studded voice cast but I hope all these big names doesn’t mean a string of one-shot cameos. In other words, if scheduling doesn’t work out, does that mean those characters don’t get to come back later? Hopefully this won’t be a problem and all these great characters can make return visits.
SHS Wave 13 in the Gallery
Almost all of Super Hero Squad Wave 13 is up in the gallery. We’re still waiting on the Tigra pack, but enjoy Thor, Iron Man (Thorbuster), Bullseye, Scarlet Spider, Silver Surfer and the Human Torch. We’re pushing 3100 photos in the gallery, and almost at 14,000 image views. Also check out the new additions to the Visitor’s Gallery with more contributions from Rick and Alex!
More on the SHS MMO
SHS MMO BBQ FTW… Lets see how many more abbreviations we can cram in! Anyway, MTV Multiplayer has some actual details regarding the upcoming Super Hero Squad MMO, saying it’s:
While the 2012 MMO is going to be a product in the vein of “City of Heroes” or “World of Warcraft,” according to Philips, in 2010, Marvel plans to launch a simpler MMO. This one will be called ‘Super-Hero Squad” and will be targeted at five-to-nine-year olds, with some extra room at that top end. Philips said the MMO will be browser-based and will present a “combination of a social networking site with gaming applications built within it.”
