Chutes and Ladders

Those absolute completists, and those with kids who enjoy a fun super hero game, probably have noticed that the Super Hero SquaD Chutes and Ladders game is now available. Featuring 8 playable characters (Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain America, Wolverine, Iron Man, Silver Surfer, Thor and Phoenix) and guest appearances including Fin Fang Foom, who drops his donuts, Spider-Woman, who builds a bird house, and a fishing Ghost Rider, it’s a fun set up. Hi-res photos of the new Wolverine sets

Marvelousnews.com has hi-res shots of the newest Wolverine sets The Coming Of Apocalypse, Doom Of The Dark Beast, The Hunt For Mr. Sinister and Battling the Brotherhood. Presumably the movie-themed Wolverine on the Run and the set with Phoenix, Deadpool and Sabretooth will be coming soon, but in the meantime, have a look at the photos. Worth noting: Nightcrawler appears to have been re-tooled to include a rock/stand.

Wolverine and the Super Confusing Squad

Entertainment Earth has put up a pre-order for Wave 2 of the Wolverine Super Hero Squad sets. Of course, given how they’re not releasing full names (many sets are TBA), we have no idea if that menas there are more sets than te ones we’ve seen, or if that is it. Time will tell.

Wave 1 was:

Wolverine in back in a new cartoon! One of the main X-Men is here to wage war against armies of malicious mutants. This case includes 6 individually packaged boxed sets of mini figures, including:

New Wolverine and the X-Men figures

Marvelousnews has pictures of the new Nightcrawler and a sort-of X-Force styled Wolverine in the Wolverine and the X-Men toy line. That’s great and everything, but Emma, Kitty and Storm could use figures too.

Big Bad Toy Store has Super hero Squad Wave 13 up for pre-order.

So to quote Cool Toy Review: “the speculation is entirely his“. He later added Guardian to his list, so that’s another great (possible) figure. Also from the Rebelscum forum, however, Booyow mentioned how the Secret War packs are already up for pre-order at Forbidden Planet and consist of Iron Man and Spider-Woman, Cyclops and Hulk, and Magneto with a Black Costume Spider-Man. Arachne fans rejoice!
