Hasbro’s recent SHS news releases

First, they show Super Hero SquadWave 12 and say it’s schedule to hit in the Spring, and then they also have the release about the Super Mini Vehicles

New Vehicles!

Pendragon’s Post has this post about the new Super Hero Squad vehicles, one vehicle and two figures, Spider-Man and the Thing in an Arachno Racer (that looks a lot like the pre-existing vehicles… hmm) but since this isn’t going to be limited to just Spider-Man, maybe this could be the chance to get mini-Quinjets, atomic steeds… Valkyrie with Aragorn? Ok, so we’ll probably just get various figures re-released with some variation of the car. But still, great news!

And a Ghost Rider wallpaper…

Here’s another attempt at a wallpaper, this one featuring our ever spooky Ghost Rider patrolling a cemetery (or at least a modified version of a clip-art cemetery… spooky has a limited budget for on-site photo shoots). Like always, if you like it, hate it, have a suggestion for a character, anything at all, feel free to discuss it at the message board.

Wave 9 sighted, Wave 10 vanished!

Hasbro Toy Shop has taken down links to the Wave 10 figures (formerly “coming soon”) but on the plus side, sightings of Wave 9 are happening! Clanure deserves a (totally-unofficial-and-with-no-cash-value-so-please-don’t-sue-us-Marvel) no-prize for mentioning it over on the Message Board. No luck in New York, at least not yet. Anyone have pictures yet? Send them to clevernamehere@therumorbuster.com or post them on the message board (yay for attachments!)

Mosaic Monday 2

And in our second Mosaic Monday (our first one was solved with one guess, no hints, so they’re not THAT hard) we have this mysterious picture. Remember the rules: It’s a Super Hero Squad figure, in a pretty straightforward pose. All the pictures that make up the figure are other figures and SHS related artwork including, possibly, the very picture it makes up. Infinite Heroes pre-order information

Toyglobe has some Infinite Heroes pre-order information up.

1) They’re breaking down the Atoms into Classic Atom and Modern Atom.

2) Superman (Classic) is listed. Does that mean the Superman from the 3-pack? A more retro look? Who knows.

3) Batman (Blue Costume). The one already released is a little more gray than blue, so could this be a simple repaint?

4) January 2009 is listed as the date for those figures, plus the others they have up for pre-order (Wonder Woman, Joker, Scarecrow and Nightwing, singles of Wonder Girl, Starfire, Black Canary and Hal Jordan… just go read it!) but as Black Lightning, Doctor Fate and the Spectre are running a bit late who knows when they’ll show up.

So here’s hoping that increased articulation starts showing up soon!
